Identifying Ives / Interrupting & Arresting is a book exploring the lives, work, and personal interpretation of two prominent graphic designers, Norman Ives and Barbara Kruger. The book draws inspiration from dos-à-dos binding, in which there is no back to the book – no matter what way the reader picks it up, they will be able to read the book legibly. Every right-hand page is right-side-up while every left-hand page is seen as upside down, with one side of the book being purely regarding Norman Ives and the other being about Barbara Kruger
